Position Overview

We are currently seeking an Applications Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and recommending our products for specific customer applications, ensuring that they meet performance expectations. You will act as a critical technical resource for both our company and our customers.

Your expertise will directly support our sales team in determining the appropriate solutions for our clients, ensuring timely order processing and thorough documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide mining and technical expertise to assist the sales team in selecting the correct products to meet customer expectations.
• Act as a technical resource for the sales team, offering insights and recommendations.
• Review sales orders for product compatibility, completeness, and appropriateness.
• Conduct peer reviews of sales orders completed by team members.
• Coordinate application efforts with Design Engineering to ensure timely reviews of sales orders.
• Ensure orders are processed timely and that all supporting documentation is completed.
• Maintain good housekeeping, adhere to 5S principles, and follow safety practices in the work area.
• Perform other duties as required to support the team and company objectives.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background combined with excellent interpersonal skills. You should be adept at establishing positive working relationships and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 3–5 years of experience in the mining or mining-related industry.
• Proficiency with AggFlow DM Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• MSHA Safety Training Certification.
• Familiarity with drafting software.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
